Skin Cancer Champions Summit

The first ever Skin Cancer Champions Patient Advocacy Summit in Boston brought together patients, care partners, medical experts, and industry leaders to hear firsthand from patients, learn about treatment options and breakthroughs, and gain industry perspectives. Local members of our GSA family joined staff member, Julie Breneiser, to reconnect and learn together. Among the notable speakers, Dr. Andrea Rustad presented on Gorlin syndrome, highlighting our community’s experiences and lifelong BCC risk.

Skin Cancer Champions generously sponsored the publication of the Gorlin Guardian, which Dr. Rustad coauthored. Dr. Rustad shared advance copies of the book with local members of our community in attendance.
