NOW HIRING: Development & Communications Manager

The Gorlin Syndrome Alliance (GSA) is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of people living with Gorlin syndrome through research, education, and support. Together with patients, families, researchers, and clinicians, we are working to accelerate the development of better therapies and, ultimately, a cure for this rare genetic disease.

We are a small, highly collaborative team where every person's contributions matter. The work of this role directly supports research initiatives, donor engagement, and programs that help individuals and families affected by Gorlin syndrome.

Position Summary

GSA is seeking a part-time Development & Communications Manager to lead grant writing, support donor development efforts, and create compelling communications that strengthen fundraising and engagement.

This role is ideal for an exceptional writer who can transform ideas, progress, and impact into persuasive communications for donors, funders, and other stakeholders. The successful candidate will be highly organized, able to manage projects independently, and comfortable taking ownership of their work.

Working closely with the Executive Director, this individual will support donor cultivation and stewardship activities while helping expand GSA's fundraising efforts. The position also collaborates with our Research Coordinator, who provides scientific expertise and technical support for research-focused grant applications and reports.

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution within a small organization where strong work is highly visible and where every grant secured, donor engaged, and story told helps advance research and support the Gorlin syndrome community.
