Guided by the GSA Research Roadmap, this annual award funds milestone-driven projects that address critical gaps in our understanding of the disease and advance promising discoveries toward clinical impact.

The GSA welcomes proposals spanning basic, translational, clinical, computational, and patient-centered research. Projects focused on therapeutic development, disease prevention, biomarker discovery, natural history, clinical trial readiness, precision medicine, and other innovative approaches are encouraged.
