Lisa Tack

Lisa Tack serves on the BCCNS Life Support Network Board of Trustees. As a board member, Lisa helps steer the organization to a sustainable and meaningful future.

What is your connection to BCCNS and when did you first get involved with the Network?

I first learned of the Network in 2009 after my daughter was diagnosed with BCCNS at the age of two years old. My husband and I were seeking information and support, and we found the Network on the internet. We were greeted with open arms from the moment we made our first phone call, and continued to refer back to the Network over the years.

What made you want to get involved on the BCCNS Board of Trustees?

I have a unique point of view on BCCNS due to my medical training as a practicing Dermatology PA-C and as a parent of an affected child. I wanted to be a part of the Board to be able to share my knowledge and ideas as the Network embarks on some amazing new changes. It is also very important to me to advocate for individuals affected with BCCNS, and what better way to do so than to serve on the Board!

What’s something you are looking forward to in 2018?

In 2018 I am looking forward to working with Jean and all of my fellow Board Members to continually make improvements to the Network and to let the world know that we are the leading authority on BCCNS. I am also looking forward to attending regional meetings and getting to know the members of the Network.
