The Gorlin Syndrome Alliance (GSA) was proud to be represented at the NIDI (Noninvasive Diagnostic Innovations) Skin Conference held in New York City on May 15–16, where Julie Breneiser, GSA’s Director of Pharmaceutical Relations, was invited to speak on Gorlin Syndrome and the Power of Advocacy.
Julie’s invitation to present at this important dermatology-focused conference highlights the growing recognition of the vital role patient advocacy organizations play in advancing awareness, education, and support for rare disease communities. During her presentation, Julie shared insights into the unique challenges faced by individuals and families living with Gorlin syndrome, as well as the impact advocacy can have on improving patient outcomes, fostering research collaborations, and strengthening community connections.
