A Record-Breaking Day at Golf for the GSA

A perfect fall day, a generous community, and a record $50,975 raised! The fourth annual Golf for the GSA brought golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters to Pease Golf Course in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, on October 12 for the tournament’s most successful year yet.

Hosted by the Hodge family, this annual event brings their community together in support of people living with Gorlin syndrome. We are especially grateful to Taylor and Brandon Hodge and their family for the time, energy, and care they put into making this day possible.

The impact reaches far beyond the golf course. Over the past year, donor support helped the GSA develop our first Research Roadmap, fund a promising research project at Stanford University, and begin translating our Natural History Study surveys into seven languages so more people around the world can participate.

This year’s proceeds will help carry that work forward, supporting our growing research grant program and bringing individuals and families together at our 2027 Amplify Patient Conference in Nashville.

For people affected by a rare disease, those connections matter. Many may never meet another person with Gorlin syndrome without the GSA. Your generosity helps create opportunities to share experiences, find support, and feel understood while advancing research toward better treatments and a cure.

To every golfer, sponsor, volunteer, donor, and supporter: thank you. And to the Hodge family, thank you for building an event that means so much to your local community and to the wider Gorlin syndrome community. You have given us so much to celebrate.
